there's plenty to slag off about europe and the uk, it's just that you lot grab all the headlines.

The point is, that this kind of stuff needs to keep being repeated, until the majority of the population wakes up from its stupor and realizes that maybe we really aren't doing quite as well as Bush and Rummy keep telling us we are.


So if you want to stop hearing all this crap, then go educate some of your friends and family. When people realize what's going on, things will change, and you won't hear this shit anymore.

on a lighter note when I was watching war of the worlds last night, I kept thinking how fucked we'd be if such a thing really happened, I mean we can hardly handle lower level military powers so much an alien civilization that by just making it here is a serious threat in itself.

actually fighting aliens could be easier because you are fighting a discrete force

the nature of fighting terrorists itself is difficult no matter how advanced you are unless you just nuke the entire place. You're fighting a force that cant be seen who cowardly does cheap attacks sometimes on their own ppl and then quickly reintegrates within to population.
