Why does my windows clock reset back 3 hours from the time I set it to, My BIOS has the correct time in it, but windows will randomly change its clock back 3 hours. I have tried logging off so it saves my settings, but it still randomly does it.

Might it be that your clock is set to sync itself with some online server which is in a timezone 3 hours back?

Online server? What would be an example of that? Don't tell me Microsofts anti spyware does that shit, because i'm almost fed up with that too, it fucks up my cd burning, cd reading, and many other things I do :icon33:

There is an option somewhere that allows it to sync itself with some server so that you always have the "correct" time.

Double click the clock and then the last tab

Right click on your clock, Adjust Date/Time. Go to the Time zone Tab and make sure your in the right time zone...then go to the internet time and set wich server you want it to sync with.

Yea, make sure your time zone is correct and the box for automatically audjust for day lights saving time is checked. Then I use the time.nist.gov server for my clock, you can turn it off if you want. See if that works.

I noticed that in most of your posts you just repeat what someone else already said, get off the ship, its annoying.

most of my posts? Most of my posts are gone, unless Q3W brought back all the posts from before it crashed back a few months ago. What else is there to advise Bacon unless this does not work. Now I am trying to help Bacon, give him what I do as fasr as my clock sync and nobody else mentioned the daylights saving time, that very well could create an hour enomoly.

Question though, how are you helping this topic at all? I don't see you trying to help or come up with another solution, rather you just came in here and started bitching. If I had to pin you as an alt I'd say you are Smith.

I didnt post anything to help him because the post above your initial one gave him the answer, oddly enough the same answer you gave minus the daylight savings time. Honestly, one hour wont mess up his time by 3 hours, think, post, get the order right.

Now what if he changed to the correct timezone and then the time was still an hour off? My post wouldv'e fixed that problem, not to mention that someone else might have this issue, or one like it where my post would provide the most help.
