Computer reboots or won't reboot.

I got a computer that my roommate uses.
It use to be mine for a couple years but I gave it to him.

One time it kept rebooting about halfway through the welcome screen.
I powered it off and it stuck a floppy in it and it wouldn't boot from that. It would also keep rebooting.
So I left it for a 5 days then tried to trouble shoot it.
Powered it up and it booted to the desktop.

Now just the other day it basically did the same thing as before.
But I have cleaned the inside with a can of compressed air.
Now today it's working again.

I think it's a power suplly problem. I had a good look at the board but don't see any problems with it.

Here's some info if that helps:

Edit: It has a 300 watt PS in it.

could it simply have been running too hot and you got rid of gunk on the fans on the cpu and case.

you could try cleaning out the psu case too. the hotter they get, the less they put out.

Sorry, even after cleaning it with compressed air it still did the same thing.
I even sprayed inside the PS also.
