WMP volume bar changes volume of entire system?

Is this intentional?

Also, does anyone know a good music player that is less of a system hog than WMP 10? An important thing I need is the ability to go to specific parts of a music track (go back and forth by just a few seconds) - WinAMP with that weird bar thing makes it difficult.

I fucking hate that as well. I usually keep Winamp playing while playing a game, I've got the hotkeys turned on so I can change tracks, volume, ect while still in game. Only problem is I turn the volume down in winamp, there goes my game volume. :(

Never does that with me. Maybe you have a keyboard with those preset mediakeys? Try changing them
