So far i been using sybex to learn and testking to prep.

What did you use? Also, how often does testking update. I been getting them off friends, but on my winxp test i noticed most the questions werent on the test king.

Testking uses actual test questions (thats why they have been involved in lawsuits with MS for awhile). Just learn the material by actually working with the products rather than taking sim tests. Actual knowledge counts for a lot more in the field than the paper does anyways.

Except you'll most likely get hired because of those 'worthless' paper certificates, not your 'real-life' experience. Funny how it works...

True to a point; it all depends how much relevant experience one has. Earning a cert is always better if its earned through working with a product rather than memorizing test strategies and questions. If a person knows the product inside out then the test isn't too hard anyways. Thats how I've done it and its the same thing I taught my students back in the day.

Yea i do that as much as i can. I have a lab i setup at home and use when im going through the sybex books. But the wording on the tests make my brain go sleepy, i have the knowledge, im just trying to optimize my test scores. Infact im one of 2 poeple out of 14 at work that are learning the stuff instead of just reading test king.

Hence why im wondering how much they update them.

True, especially with the big corporations, where job interviews are usually done by some near-clueless HR girl/guy.
