...will get your server up and running. But if you want to configure it properly, read this.
i dont know wha have the same quake but i want that evry body cant see my server when they go seach voor servers en than they see my serverDuhard wrote:Are you two using the same versions of q3?
Just make sure you both have 1.32 installed properly.
yeah well if you two aren't using the same patch then he won't be able to connect to your server...but he'll be able to see it using the all seeing eye.•-=][jamaica][=-• wrote:i dont know wha have the same quake but i want that evry body cant see my server when they go seach voor servers en than they see my server
Trying to connect to a server running a different PR gives a message along the lines of "Server uses protocol XX". It's usually a tell-tale sign that a router or firewall is blocking traffic if you get stuck at "Awaiting challenge".Duhard wrote:yeah well if you two aren't using the same patch then he won't be able to connect to your server...but he'll be able to see it using the all seeing eye.
i dont know^misantropia^ wrote:Are you connectable, i.e. are no firewalls/routers blocking the port the server is listening on (27960 by default)?
Well, we don't know either and we can't just take a look into your network/computer can we? You have to figure that part out.•-=][jamaica][=-• wrote:i dont know^misantropia^ wrote:Are you connectable, i.e. are no firewalls/routers blocking the port the server is listening on (27960 by default)?
