SWAT 4 sp demo out today or..

You that have played the MP beta demo will probably look forward to this as it shows the awsome A.I and the great true to life environments.
This game is NO Raven shield, its much more complex and a greater varity and with much more detailed enviorments and great gadgets etc.

well I thought swat 3 sucked, and so do any slow moving games that require no aim skill as who ever sees the guy first wins with a one shot kill. Also it took forever to find anything and if you missed one thing they wouldnt let you go on so you had to read stupid walkthroughs to get ahead.

3D Gamers has nice torrent downloads...
Will snag this but I also want to grab the Splinter Cell: PT SP Demo that came out today as well.

I'm downloading Splinter Cell also, haven't tried SWAT yet but I have it downloaded already. It's nice having a fileplanet account.

for some reason the aa and af seemed horrible even though in my ati control panel I had it up to full.

I played near perfectly with all the highend settings, but here are my actual specs:
2gbs dual channel DDR400mhz RAM (Corsair)
AMD 3500+
ATi X800 256mb (Pipes off)
Water coolant.
Some MSI MoBo, forgot excact model.
2x250gb 5200 RPM SCSI slave drives.
1x250gb 10k RPM SCSI master drive.
I think that about covers it...my case is a Cooler Master by the way.

I played the demo yesterday but i didn't really like it...
When i played it like a standard FPS i was annoyed at the slow pace of the game and how easily you die, and when i kind of sneaked around and used my teammates i quickly lost my patience.
Also, i thought the tazer gun would be fun - i imagined knocking people backwards in an electric frenzy or dropping them on the floor like a sack of potatoes - but it was shit. They say 'yargh' and keep standing up, real unrealistic like. And the beanbag shotgun was also a huge dissapointment
I expected i could knock people out by firing in their faces - instead they scream 'Oh no' and assume a fellatio p0sition.
