Looks awesome, can't wait.

The trailer was annoying though, the Inception-like "bwaaaaaaammmmmm" is a far overplayed but I suppose you can't blame Ridley Scott, I doubt he has much to do with actually editing the trailers.

Finally a proper scifi horror kind of thing again. I feel like scifi is a seriously under appreciated genre the past few years. Star Wars killed it.

Indeed they were. I will say that Sunshine was really quite promising for the first 40 something minutes though, it only turned into a predictable uninteresting yawnfest after that.

Oh hey don't get me wrong, i quite liked it too - it's just that Sunshine does the exact same thing and they've could have made it far more of a mindfuck.

I think Sunshine would've been better without the sudden transformation from sci-fi to slasher flick, but it's still a great movie. Cillian Murphy is awesome.

Pandorum had so much potential but lost coherence at the end of the second act.

Sunshine had no clue what type of movie it wanted to be, so it tried to be several types and failed at each of them. The only cool part of that movie was the first 20 minutes...everything beyond that was a waste of time.

Event Horizon was awesome all the way up until the point Sam Neill went batshit, then the whole plot followed suit. Still engaging after that, but it had already lost the audience.

I think y'all are forgetting about The Arrival, with Charles Sheen. Awesome, awesome sci-fi film...
