I've still got the CBR though and love that but I am looking for something bigger and a Kawasaki H2 has been in my eye now for a while. I just got a 370Z though so it'll probably be a little while before I make another big purchase.

Aside from that, I bought a few Kayaks recently and have been loving those!

That particular model of Ducati (Superleggera 1299) will set you back 80 grand (besides the requirement of already having to own a Ducati). Then there's the little caveat of Ducati only building 500 of those and all of 'em have already been sold.
And what? An H2? 30 grand, bro. For a poser bike.

How is the H2 a poser bike? It's one of, if not the fastest production bikes being made right now. Yeah it's pricey but I'd be willing to spend it for that thing, when it's time to get rid of my 500r that'll be what I'm looking at unless I go a totally different route and get a dual bike. Lots of trails around here to have tons of fun in.

Because unless you're a track-day regular, the H2 will be nothing but a pain in the arse. It's a purpose-built bike for racing, nothing other than that. Just look at the numbers. It's got a 1000cc supercharged engine delivering 200bhp, with a top speed of like 360 km/h (over 220mph). You commute on your CBR500, right? Well, have much fun doing that on a H2. Your back will be hating your 10 miles into your ride.

The H2R is track purpose, the H2 is meant to be road driven and has the same seating as my 500R which is very comfortable. It's also about the same weight as my 500r but yeah, it's got like 4x the power. I doubt I'll ever go 220 mph with the thing but I just might. My 370Z has seen 160mph and my 500r has gone as fast as it'll go. (yeah it's not that fast).

Friends of mine said the same thing about the 370Z, too sporty, won't like it on the road blah blah blah but you know what? I drive it every day I can and I love it. I have no issues with it being stiff and sporty, in fact that's how I like it.

Eh, the seating is completely different.
Check out this site: punch in your CBR500 and then add the H2 and you'll see the difference:

What was your favorite areas?
Any trouble with the RV?
Was the close quarters a nightmare?

Buena Vista area the best... Best mountains, best river (Arkansas), best surrounding towns, not crowded...

Tankless water heater was sketchy at times...Jake brakes didn't work....38 foot RV not to cramped...

Dude you missed out, he was in Texas in May. He's pushing 70 so I have to see him before he calls it quits. My brother was lucky enough to catch him at the Pori jazz festival in Finland not two weeks ago.

Well, Ian Anderson is Jethro Tull. Without that voice, there is no band...

Actually, his closest stop for me was just last month. :(

Looks like he's been going full steam since 2013? Probably won't make another round... :disgust:

That's even more impressive than a test drive in a RS6 Avant

The wind screen is probably what's throwing you off. But it's a creature comfort for long rides that is quick release removable like the back rest. Sometimes you sacrifice "really cool" for a bit of comfort.

I guess the bike's considered cool in its category but it just doesn't tick any of the boxes for me.
