So I'm trying to make bent railing, and honestly I haven't a clue on how to go across doing this... :tard: I tried making it out of patch meshes, that went terrible..(I'm even too ashamed to post a picture of my sad sorry attempt) I'm sure it can be done that way but with extreme difficulty, at least for me. :D

This is what I'm trying to accomplish for this particular spot,

Basically I'm trying to eventually get the whole top rail(yellow) to about 90 degrees by the end, and have the support beams(blue) turn into sort of a staircase by sticking an invisible brush or patch mesh atop it to stop the player from falling in between the beams. What would be the best way to go about making this? Thanks in advance :)

I'm going to redo the whole spot because I think it looks to much like mushy melted metal/playdough xD

I don't wonder that this guardrail broke. It's built out of cheese :olo:

I thought you wanted a curved metal railing. For a broken one, you might want to go take a look at some reference photos to study how they actually break. Metal doesn't turn into noodle when it breaks, it normally flexes at a certain point until it breaks off.

Also might be easier to model such a thing?

no experience nor firsthand knowledge of how to do so, this is the first level editing sort of thing I've endeavored on and I've only been doing so for a few months x)
