A laptop in my dept has just come to me and the IT guy is pc based, so i cant install software without logging on as teh previous admin _________________ "Liberty, what crimes are committed in your name."

Canis canis Joined: 14 Jan 2001 Posts: 17305	Posted: 05-17-2006 08:36 AM                  There should be a way to change admin priveleges through single user mode. Start up using cmd-S and you'll be dropped to the command prompt. From there you can edit the appropriate config files or mess with commands to grant a specific user administrator priveleges.
