s_maxSoundsPerShader... SET IT AT 16 ALREADY.

FFS, I'm watching the SP videos ATM and people for some reason have it at 1 or something, because the jumps all sound the same, the weapons all use the same sound for every shot, and the enemies all make the same noise all the time.

s_maxSoundsPerShader will change that, so that the sounds will be more random.

So set it at 16 or something and then try it. Because ATM, apart from the music, the sound is awful.

they prolly just need a better computer. doom3 set it to 16 on my rig after auto hardware detection

and why not post this in the movies thread, homo. your threadcount went up 482056% since the q4 forum was added.
