Wasn't this even possible through thin platforms in quake3 to some degree? I think it could add a whole new tactic.

It was possible when q3 first came out, but it was patched. I kinda liked it.

It was too extreme though..some floors on t2 were like 10 feet thick and you could still hit through floors..gay.

Yes its true. Its pretty strong too, try it on the dm17 remake
