Yeah i figured the same thing. unless its some kind of extra shader extension or something that wasnt in the earlier models? i really have no idea im just taking stabs in the dark.. also someone else on planetquake forums said he's having the same problem so might be a fix yet!

Well i just picked up my copy but yeah as u can see ive got this problem!!! Any idea's? im running a 9200 radeon (shit i know) and ive updated to 5.10 drivers and i tryed 5.9's but no help... :confused: Damn a 9200? It's not supported, the 9600 is not even supported. But I'm sure it will still play...

Nope, Doom3 is fine..how ever it might have something to do with the face that 9200's arnt supported as a recommended video card for quake 4... :-(
