Now that a few days have passed..
At first, the multiplayer seemed very overwhelming, and I was getting my ass handed to me on the regular. Now that 've had a few days to get used to the pacing, and get all of my settings adjusted for a decent frame rate, I 'get it', and I think it's pretty excellent. CTF and Arena CTF in particular...
