I downloaded a patch and i was fine.
Now that I put you guys through this forum of confusion and the answer was right under my nose, i feel like this:

Hi, i'm new here, so I just wanted to introduce myself. :icon17: I just got Quake III, but when i want multiplayer it says it can't detect the "Master Server". Does other people get this, or did i get a $40 game for nothing? :icon28:
