the bumpmaps is not realtime in q3 it actually gets baked down on the lightmaps and thats why they dont show with only vertex llightning.

dont forget to maually write .obj in the end of the filename otherwise it wont save anything.

Thanks guys, I will probably mix the lights up somehow Im not sure how im going to do it yet. I will probably flashing out most other parts of the scene before i dig more into the lightning. I do have a blue sunlight but its quite week and I also have some blue stuff in the fog so there some tweakin...

If you want a free program I would go for blender its not the most intuitive tool out there but its the best one you can get for free. and with it you can checkout http://www.katsbits.com that has a lot of tutorials on blender and how to use it together with radiant. Should get you started quite fas...

yeah should mention that the damn save function don't work in vista as well for 1.4 but the autosave does

I really have to agree with donkey, the only reason im using 1.5 is for models and I really miss the Z window in 1.4 (and yes i know you can switch view or have multiple view but i always manage to drag the mouse to the side so the brushes moves with it in the xz, yz views.)

that's tight phantazm11, hope you get your beta out soon :) and yeah agree with odium that brick decal dosen't fit, you could try to paint in some fake lightning so it looks a bit a bumpy from a distance or replace the brush with a model and actually make it the brick decal sink down a bit into the ...

yeah I've been hiting my head agents that 45 degrees angles as well, I wish there was a way to use a second uv map for the lightmaps.

Thanks donkey, but this project is only for udk as q3 don't support normal and specular or at least no good support for it.

make it a rule that all levels needs to have the same pk3 name as the bsp file. I know some levels missed that in the first competition.
