I can imagine it very easily. The Republican base wouldn't vote for that person, there was half a dozen of them in the primary.

You know, Americans are so hung up on their second amendment? To defend yourself from a tyrannical oppressive government? Maybe it's time to actually, really make that second amendment count right now?
Look, I'm not saying anyone should be shot, but maybe the American people should revolt and say "look, we don't want either of these pricks. Let's go back to square one and try again".
