Re: Forums redesign?
I like it the way it is, but there are some features lacking and bugs that should be fixed. A complete overhaul isn't necessary imo.

:olo: you people aren't seriously considering doing anything with this heap of flaming shit are you? It's like those mainframes at the bank that have been running on COBOL for 50 years straight and have never been turned off. Just leave it the fuck alone.
Re: Forums redesign?
i may be way off base here, but i suspect this entire thread is a ruse, enacted in response to the OP, and no actual redesign is in the offing :dts:

Re: Forums redesign?
That's some progress. Most likely, the ancient theme will stand.
Re: Forums redesign?
Wow, that doesn't actually look bad at all. True to the original, and still feels slightly better. Nice, I like it.shaft wrote:puff and i have been hard at work… should be done any day now once we get our guy to press a few more buttons.

Re: Forums redesign?
This was the intended device when the site was designed:

I'd say that it's stood the test of time quite well..
Liking the phpBB upgrade (great job @Doomer and @raw). I'd say a lot of effort has gone into preserving the original charm of the site over the last 20+ years.
