I use WEP at the moment (can't be bothered upgrading my firmware to support WPA ) with MAC filtering (this allows only my wirelss card to access my network) makes is quite safe. Some guy up the road from me has an open connection; and he must know what he's doing as his download folder has Linux amonst other things, nevermind
