I need some type of media player that uses very little resourses. Does not have to have any pretty pictures, just as long as it plays a good range of different media. Anyone know of a good one.

go here: http://www.codecguide.com/

you can download one program that will install media player classic and every codec you can think of, including real player and quicktime alternative.

and audio :D if you're looking for a minimalistic player -- it can load and save playlists now (ctrl + 7) so just throw any media at all you want played in there, start it, and you're sorted.
