GTA meets City Of Heroes?

After watching the "character creation" video I'm quite convinced I can get filthy stinking rich making a game that is nothing more than character creation. Then I'll add a module so that all the users of Poser 3D can make pornos with their characters.

I've actually thought about that before. Companies license graphics engines, particle/physics engines, etc. Why not a character creation engine? FPS/MMO/RPG whatever. Some people really get in to it. Something as (apparently) well done as it is in this game could be easily widely adopted, even if the game itself sucks.

I remember reading about this last year. I've been dying to play a decent MMO game on a console.

not sure what made you think it was a console game but:

a build has already seen running on the 360. also a comment made by RTW during E3 caused some confusion about platforms, they responded with saying it's defo underway for 360;

aren't there already companies doing that? fallout 3 or saints row 2 or some other game i played recently had a copyright statement for the character creation during startup.

The first time I learned about APB was on a 360 game review site, and there's been a bunch of sites over the last year with info on the game for 360.
