Not sure, but it sounds good, more than words...

Official Movie Trailer #1

Apparently it is a huge disappointment

I'm really liking it so far. There's loads of lovely little touches, like strafe jumping, rooms that are obviously taken straight from Doom and other FPSes of the time, an upgrade to the shotgun that turns it into Unreal's Flak Canon, and more.

I think those that are disappointed weren't expecting it to be quite as hard as it is. This is basically Spelunky: The FPS.

There's a few areas that need polish, such as weapon sounds and feedback, but I received a Kickstarter update this morning detailing the patch coming out today that's looking to address a lot of the issues raised in critical reviews.

Of course, being a backer means you have to take into account possible confirmation bias when reading my opinion.

It looks decent enough to try out.

Ian Higton of Eurogamer doesn't appear that impressed.

Looks like he has some valid points there.

Shame, watched that review and turned me away from it pretty fast. Repeated tight corridors with enemies that track you directly making strafing almost impossible? Meh.
