Never Been Kissed - 6.5/10

Interresting Idea but not intelligent enough to make up for the standard storyline.

Office Space - 10/10

Still one of the best comedies ever made. I don't know how many times I've seen it, but it's still just as funny every time.

"If we get caught, we're not going to white-collar resort prison. No, no, no. We're going to federal POUND ME IN THE ASS prison!"

Mr. & Mrs. Smith: 7/10
Fun movie. Some good stuff, but the end action scene is so stupid. Anyone who has play any FPS game with a rocket launcher would have aimed one RPG at them and finished them off.

I totally disagree with you here. 8/10. Great movie!

I don't know. I think the ending is pretty weak. Also the whole "Damn it feels good to be a gangster" scene is really cheesy.

In my experience people with fulltime jobs find office space more hilarious than students... :)

i found office space to be "ok". not as OMG WAFFLE LOLLERCOPTERS!!!11one a everyone claims it to be.

there are some stuff a working man can relate to, like the beginning of the movie where everyone keeps reminding him about the new folders, but its not like that is LOLLERCAUSTINGLY funny

Well, as a former fully-employed office worker of two years I guess I'm the exception.

P.S.: And the "gangster" scene is really, really cheesy. If that is your dream come true, all hope is lost for your life anyway.

Saw today:

Red Eye - Not as bad as I thought it was going to be (was expecting a lot less action a lot more drama.. and that Cillian fellow looks like a mongoloid).
Actually plays out very well. Unfortunately there are no twists to the plot which it needed to pull through the last hour.

5/10

Dukes of Hazzard - A little worse than I anticipated. Not as funny as it should have been and certainly not a patch on Starsky and Hutch.

3/10

The Longest Yard - Completely pulp, but enjoyable nonetheless. Some reasonable acting from Sandler and various nobodies, but was severely let down by Chris Rock. Unless he drops his comedy accentuation in his voice (which belongs on the circuit, not on the screen), he's not going to fit into many roles except a select few (Dogma worked because he was effectively preaching through the movie, which isn't that far removed from what you do in a comedy routine.

5/10

Not the best day at the cinema, but I get in free so no worries.

I've seen that one a couple years ago on TV on a school trip to Edinburgh. It was like 3 am, we were drunk as fuck and I almost pissed myself laughing.

Edit:

BTW Edinburgh seemed to be a really cool city.
