Don't post things like this on a resource sticky. Those are there for a reason. I took the liberty of splitting your post into a new thread.

Sorry, but if you haven't done this before, learning it is usually a matter of just reading a lot of information, and trying out the stuff you read on your own until you figure out what's going on. All of us pretty much learned how to map like that. You're *probably* not going to get someone to walk you through it step by step (unless they're bored and just looking for something to do).

There's a ton of information regarding mapmaking in the "Starting Quake Mapping" sticky thread, and that should be enough to get you going.

If you decide that you want to make a model instead, then pretty much all the modelling apps (Lightwave, Max, Maya, whatever) have online tutorials--Google is your friend.

We'll be happy to answer any questions you have regarding specific problems that aren't covered in the sticky threads. We're generally a friendly bunch...just not with a ton of free time usually. :)

Edit: Wow, it's Foo! Great minds think alike. :)

Noone's going to take the time to go through everything as if you were a baby. Not sure if English is your first language or if that's a problem for you, but when people write guides it's generally so that they DON'T have to go through things with each newcomer.
