weird, i've been having really fun matches... and i very rarely bump my head while im zooming around... but heres another train of throught, not being able to strafe jump all the time can also add a bit move variation. but yeah, it is a small map. 2 v2 style - 3 v 3 max. i've gottn so used to the map, i could post a demo file of a match showing me playing for you guys to laugh at :D

ill move the armor out a bit more. should i switch the shotgun for the gren launcher? or maybe put it somewhere else all together? could add a section somewhere... hmmm

also, this map is for vq3 and has not been played in cpma at all as i dont like the changes to player movement... all that super jump shit is ridiculous :D

this map will now come with a wee duel map i made last night, making a whole map in 2 hours is fun :D

uses the same textures as the ctf, so not to much more data needed for the zip woop

Very nice skybox, add small factor fog there, remove 1px border bug, remove RG and we can call it a map :).

i would also be interested in seeing a portal sky tut

@hipshot: this was ment to be a wee extra duel map for the ctf map, they both use the same textures etc so i was gonna pack 2 maps into 1, but now that ive been workin on it some more im gonna make it stand alone. thread etc to be added when im happy with a beta for u fellas :D

yeah, but its just another couple of boring average maps by me. no one will miss these maps not being released...

ps, anyone know of any good l4d mapping community sites? cant find a good forum for hammer mapping... my google foo is weak lol

after having another look with fresh eyes, im calling this done. gotta pack it up, check shaders, textures.. write the txt... but yeah... so another going off to lvl.

now this frees me up to start new stuff yay... link etc to follow in a few hours/days/weeks :D

ok, i think this is the final zip... thoughts?

here are my thoughts at the end here.

its too cramped, and there are to many things to bump into, it should have been opened up more to allow more entertaining fights.

in the end its a style over gameplay map. sad but true. its not terrible... but not great. bots suck at ctf :(

but well, after this much work got put into it... im not gonna go change all that stuff as it would take more hours than im prepared to sink into it. next time the tunnels will be 384x384 units minimum... but well for a small 3v3 or 2 v 2 i dont think its *that bad... hahaha i know right!
