Topic Starter	Topic: Quake 3 starts Internet connection automatically when exe´d

Ive installed the new 1.32 patch for Quake 3 arena, an now when I start the game an internet connection atempts to start and the screen goes all white. I Have to use the task manager to stop it. The game then runs as normal. Is this a new thing with punkbuster or have I got a worm problem?

signa no u Joined: 15 Sep 2004 Posts: 150	Posted: 03-21-2005 09:45 AM                  Its punkbuster. rename the /pb directory to something else. once you get q3 up and running you can turn pb off with console commands: /seta cl_punkbuster 0 /seta pb_sv_disable then you can rename the PB folder back to /pb if your playing online and need pb enabled, enable it in the game menu.
