SAMSUNG SyncMaster 990DF anyone know if this is a good monitor? I have not had too much experience with Samsung, but that experience that I have had has been satisfactory. Only thing is that its dot pitch is .20 horizontal. On the Samsung site it says
Quote:
30-96 kHz horizontal frequency, 50-160 Hz vertical frequency
Why is the hotizontal frequency different from the vertical frequency?

I like my Samsung SyncMaster 21.3 inch LCD. It works great, even after toting it back and forth to lots of LAN parties.

Horizontal frequency is always different from vertical frequency. I read an article on either Anandtech or THD a couple of months ago which explained it really well .. unfortunately I haven't been able to find it after a quick search.

As for the monitor in question, I don't have a clue.
