Uhh... no. GPU = graphics processing unit.

Which one do you have? nVidia, ATI, Intel, other. Which model? GTX 260, 9800 Pro, etc.

And are you using the latest graphics drivers?

You need to disable 'visual themes' in the compatability settings. Also enable 'run as administrator'.

When you get it working you'll find you can only save as 'autosave.map' or the name of the .map you initially loaded from. This hasn't been fixed yet.

I have NVIDIA , version : 2.2.275.00(w/e that means, don't know where to check which model I have), running as an administrator, disabled visual themes = getting http://img185.imageshack.us/i/gtk.png/
and going to Dl gtk 1.5 , and see if works better.

Gtk 1.5 works worse than 1.4.

Stolen from http://robotrenegade.com/radiant/faq.html
After installation, right-click on the GtkRadiant.exe and choose "Properties". Click on the "Compatibility" tab and under "Settings", check the "Disable desktop composition" option. Click on "Apply" and "OK".

Maybe zeroradiant 1.6 will work although i didn't get it working with xp but i did not really have time to figure out why

QTK 1.2 was the best version

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, with an nVidia GTX 280, latest stable drivers, and I can run GtkRadiant 1.4.0, 1.5.0 and 1.6.1. No problems.

Double check the FAQ axbaby posted above.
