$150 @ Compusa for the external - both Firewire and USB2.0

For those interested, works perfectly w/ a Mac - including the actual Lightscribe burning. Doesn't come with any Mac specific software though.. but if you already have Toast or some of the opensource stuff, works great.

Oh, and Compusa is having a sale on DVD media. $1.99 for a 10 pack including mini jewel cases.

I'd like a better optical drive, but at this point I'm holding off for whatever comes next

Does the lightscriber burn disks as well, or does it just print images onto the CD?

like special LS DVDs?
