I want to play some quakeworld, but only have a pc copy of quake1, does anyone know what files go in teh applications and which go in the library directories? If so, I can copy off the pc cd. Was there even a mac version of quake 1?

I believe it will work. There was a mac version of Q1, or maybe it was a 3rd party port, but it was definitely playable on the mac. I'm not sure of the directory structure for Q1, though I wouldn't imagine it would be much different than Q2, Q3, or D3 since they are all ID games and are fairly similar.
