Also... Kind of ironic getting a lecture about parenting from an absent parent due to prison terms, daycare and a shitty contract job... :olo: ...

Well, that was before I had children, created three successful businesses and paid upfront for her entire education for the next 18 years, but I digress..

What makes it shitty parenting is the fact that you would allow your child to play computer games rather than something actually constructive. More than that though, it just reeks of the kind of inept laziness prevalent in people like you.

I honestly used to think that behind your persona was a reasonably smart guy. I didn't have any evidence of it from your posts, it was just a basic assumption. The more I'm around you, though, the more I realise you really are just a generic, dumb hick.

We saw the stats on your Xbox account.. you've let them play thousands of hours of a shitty computer game just so you wouldn't have to actually get off your leathery arse and teach them something. And that's what it is - you have nothing to teach because you're an illiterate bum.

Good job, super dad

First of all you will be in or have been in prison for half your child's life... Statistics agree with me... Second of all ur barely surviving on sporadic contract work and ur kid is fucked. My kids all got the Texas tomorrow fund and colleges paid for... Third that was my steam account not Xbox and that was 1200 hours for a 5 year old game that also counts the time the game is just in the menu. I play it, my 13 year old played it, 11 year old plays it some and my 18 and19 year old have played it... Nothing remarkable and totally normal... Last... Minecraft is largely responsible for my 5 year old who hasn't even started school being able to read at a 4th grade level.. She also critical thinks like a 5th or 6th grader... Grow up chump ur a shitty parent... Go stick your daughter in daycare while u pretend to be working from home... :olo: ...

How many letters did you write during the week you were waiting?
Just one. I am still trying to get my ISP to fix a problem. One and only once a month I get a duplicate email from them. It's been happening for 8 months and they say it is my email application and some forwarding rule :smirk:

I have no forwarding rule. I have investigated myself, reading/studying up on email headers and know both emails originate at their IP. Still I battle :D

PS: Anyone know of any sites that detail email header explanation? I have done most that I find on google searching.

Surely xer0s you must suffer bad service sometimes or do you put up with whatever is served to you?

God, I didn't see the bit where you mentioned about Minecraft teaching your daughter to read, Geoff?

You're proud of that? You really are a total deadbeat, aren't you?

If she can learn to read while being neglected on a computer game, imagine how advanced her reading age would be if you actually did some parenting.

Your poor wife, having to leave her pride and joy at home with such a miserable fucking loser.

xer0s don't forget to tell us of one of your complaint stories. We'd all enjoy it.

As to one from me, try this one. I was getting cheesed off receiving readdressed postal mail when we haven't lived at the address for more than 2 years so set about to stop it.

A little background: Brisbane Queensland Australia (it is in my profile here) suffered significant rainfall events for a couple of years running. The Brisbane River flooded causing severe damage. My suburb, while not particularly damaged was surrounded by metres of floodwater for at least 4 days.

I still remember calling my Team Leader at work saying I couldn't get in as I was flood-bound. He insisted I was wrong and I could get to work :tard:

I couldn't drive out because of metres of floodwater, but it ended up I was able to walk out across a railway overpass footbridge 500metres away. They sent a car and picked me up. It took about two and a half hours to travel to work instead of the usual 15 minutes. Same, if not longer on the return.

I had my revenge tough; I got overtime and a tour of the devastation for those days.

Another quick one; our onsite generator* was running low on diesel fuel so we arranged a 44 gallon (200-litre) drum of it be delivered and we carried it across that pedestrian footbridge/railway overpass. One of our residents had a 'tray top' to transport up the hill.

I still remember the faces of 'refugees', foreign students and others dispossessed by the flood and the state of shock they appeared to be in who congregated at the railway station. Some started to walk to the city as no trains were running, their tracks became a freeway.

* One of only 2 or 3 highrise apartments in the area with one. Authorities cut power to the riverside suburbs during those days so we shone like a beacon/lighthouse at night. Embarrassing.

Haha, you really set them straight!

I don't personally have any complaint stories or letters, cause it's not worth my time. But I'm enjoying yours! Post more if possible!

Just threw out an email on a whim and became editor of a small-scale (but nice) tech review site. Looking forward to seeing what I develop this into in my free time.
