And there's this guy who experimented with polyphasic sleep for half a year... 20 minute naps every 4 hours.

Toxic, it sounds like you're depriving yourself of NREM. It seems like I read something at one point that NREM is important for memory. You've obviously read a great deal about this, so maybe you've come across it. I can't recall the article, guess I don't get enough NREM...

Well, it looks like you've cut back on your total sleep, but have been able to maintain (or even increase) your deep (REM) sleep. So the sleep that you're actually eliminating is light (Non-REM) sleep, which is important for memory...

I see your point. REM is not the same as deep sleep, though. They're separate, the app estimates REM and it puts it at the end of each deep sleep cycle. Anyway, I'll read up about it, thank you for pointing this out!

BTW I don't deprive myself of sleep, I wake up on my own without using an alarm to check if I'm in deficit or not. I would never force myself to sleep less :)

No not yet. I ordered it at the same time as Bloodborne, but Bloodborne arrived first, so I started playing that.

About 30 hours into it and loving it. From what I read online, Bloodborne is like DS2 lite, so I'm massively looking forward to playing DS2 straight after, as every aspect of it is apparently much deeper and well-thought out.
Good man. I haven't played bloodborn yet. I wonder how similar they are.

Last night I decided to write up a review of my Surface 3 after using it for 3 months. If you're interested in the surface line or tech in general, please take a look.

Ok. Today a twat came into my gym trying to blast the pads hard and show off. The owner didn't like that: https://www.facebook.com/Phantasticstan ... 154651499/

does the pro have >2GB RAM? i considered the Surface 3 recently but went with the Galaxy Tab 4 to replace the Asus Transformer that I'd overcharged one too many times like a bellend. it didn't seem like the Surface was worth it unless you went for the pro, and then it was overkill for what i want from a tablet (i.e. the ability to watch iplayer, youtube and twitch - oh, and there's no native twitch app for Windows...)

I just bought a Galaxy S Tab 8.4. 3GB RAM and I added a 64GB microSD to store movies and stuff for my trip next month.

Shame they didn't improve on the Surface 2 and include an extra USB port :(.

They do look great however.

The Pro starts with 4GB of ram. Honestly I don't understand why MS would put 64 bit Windows on anything with 2GB RAM that is COMPLETELY UNUPGRADABLE. SHAME. SHAME. SHAME.

The surface series aren't about being tablets, IMO, they're for people who just want really thin and light ultrabooks. The problem is that you can get a really thin and light ultrabook (like the UX305) for the same price but with better performance and overall user experience. For the surface to be the best choice I think 1. money needs to not be your first priority, and 2. you are not looking for an ultrabook or tablet but the experience of both.

They seem great. We're trying to get our IT director to put them on the equipment list at work.

I think the surface 4 pro is going to be the one to buy, as long as they sell it for around the 1k area

They probably made it 64bit for software compatability reasons and not for physical ram limits.
