I will probably reinstall win 10 32-bit on it after it's out.

Also, bought a QHD+ razer blade 2015 used for about 2k USD. It's a complete vanity purchase but I still can't wait to get my hands on it. Already have a gigabyte P34W v3
I love quake!

I was about to buy a xbone, but I read yesterday that NMS is a PS4 and PC release only :(

I'll still probably get the xbone...

Hi guys,

Here's an update for my sleep optimization progress. I'm down to a stable 4h30m average per night and my average deep sleep is approaching 60%. It's still hot in my bedroom on some nights, so I don't always sleep as well as I could.

On a perfect 4.5h night I get about 70% of deep sleep. This feels exactly the same as a good 7-8h night. This makes sense because even though total sleep duration is shorter, my deep sleep duration is the same or more than it was in the past.

Here's a chart outlining my progress for the last 30 days.

Image

Also, below are some general guidelines for those who would like to attempt sleep optimization.
  1. Consistent wake up time every day, weekends especially. Whenever you oversleep, you'll need to sleep a lot more.
  2. Track all the time and note note your deep sleep. Use the smart alarm so that you're never worken up during deep sleep. My smart wake period is 30m.
  3. Don't change anything else in your life while you're optimizing. Try to take it easy during your free time. Play videogames, read, watch movies. Don't try to kill yourself with work.
  4. Optimize gradually. Go to bed later and later and see how your deep sleep % reacts to it. Listen to your body, don't force yourself to sleep less if you see that you need more.
  5. You might still feel sleepy when it's past your old, unoptimized bedtime. This is normal and it will go away.

Fast forward 2 weeks from now when geoff has jumped aboard this bandwagon and he's bragging about only sleeping 4 hours and 9 minutes a night.

Reminds me of the time he was proud of and counting the number of steps he took in a day.

fuck you
