i don't have a problem with the 2nd amendment, or people collecting vast collections of guns they don't need because they like guns, or people shooting at targets, deer, burnt out cars, etc - but the for the love of god can you please stop shooting each other?

Nah, America isn't an "interesting" country by any stretch. It's certainly a beautiful country in many parts, and the diversity of it's landscape is stunning, and at a push, you could describe it as "peculiar" in a positive sense, but it's certainly not an area of interest.
