I just spent a couple of days backing stuff up to external HDDs in preparation.
My Windows 10 icon says ready to go but I am hesitant after read a PC magazine in the library that suggest hold on installing for a month or two.

It's better than windows 7...
Re: Windows 10
I might update in next month, but I think Cortana won't be much useful for us as it does not support other languages than english. Then the privacy. In Edge there might be also keylogger installed, so do not use Edge for online banking at least. Then ALWAYS use some antivirus solution with resident shield that blocks out attempts to hacker attack via malware. Anyway, the keylogger is pretty dangerous thing of Microsoft. They added it to Preview version. If any hacker could be able to access that keylogger, he could pretty easily remote sending data to his own server and let them go also to their original destination. In preview there was disabled access to online banking due to the present keylogger. If a potential hacker could remote the data, he could also remove that restriction. Well done, Microsoft
