CD Key

I need the cd key for Quake III: Arena. Version 1.31

I do have my own game you ass munchers, but it doesnt play online. I use the cd key on the cover and it says "mistyped cd key?" or "invalid cd key" while in the options menu it says my cd key is valid. Which means geeks like you are already using my cd key from a key generator, so its only fair if I use somebody else's. :icon25:

And I dont care if it costs peanuts, this was a legal purchase, and I have a right to use it. I aint buying another game.

against my better judgement but ill ask you anyway, are you playing any mods?
if so,
delete all the cd keys in any mods,and....
delete the cd key in baseq3.
/quit.
start game again,when it asks for the key,type it in,once finished,/quit again.
go into baseq3, open the cd key folder go to propeties,tick the box for "Read Only".

Happens sometimes with valid keys. If, after deleting and re-entering your key, it still doesn't work: pull down the console from the menu and type /timescale 100 and connect to a server.

yeah that happened to me for the longest time when 1.32 was first released. i think i went 2 weeks without a solution though i had been playing on the same disc i bought in june of 2000. timescale 100 did it.
