Australian Prime Minister changes in party room coup yesterday.
Malcolm Turnbull will be sworn in as Australia's 29th prime minister today after a political coup saw him reclaim the Liberal Party leadership from Tony Abbott.
Here's a photo of some guy I know who got into the papers for illegally slacklining across a couple of buildings under construction (naturally he has chosen to remain anonymous).
That seems ah... awfully fuckin' risky. Guess that's the point. But what happens when one of these guys falls and kills someone on a sidewalk on impact? I don't see a safety line on the first pic, but the viewing angle is not ideal.
I sent a letter of complaint to the Manager of the club as apparently 'no allocated seating' these days means you are not guaranteed a seat
If I pay for a show I expect a seat.
I just got an apology. Excerpts.
.....it would seem that there was a break down in communication with you over the seating arrangement for this event.
.......this particular event like many we have had in the past, was designed as a limited seating event, meaning that not all quests would have seating. We generally have approximately 60% seating available for such events.
......with all things new we don’t know of problems until the event has happened, so all we can do is learn from this and use it to improve and ensure our presentation of future events never allowing our valuable patrons to have a negative experience at our club.......
......allow me to offer you either two free tickets to another of our upcoming shows or a gift voucher for the two of you to have a dinner or lunch at our expense.
You seem to be keeping busy by finding things that aggravate you. Or maybe because you're older everything that isn't as good as your best experience upsets you. 'No allocated seating' has ALWAYS meant you're not guaranteed a seat. If you often find yourself frustrated with the places you go or the people you meet, it's likely you that's the problem. You might be better off finding a hobby that keeps you at home where you're the one in control of the outcome. That way the only person that can upset you is you.
Luckily, you're really old, so collectively, people can breathe a sigh of relief once you die. I really mean that - it will be good once you are dead. Then people who probably hate their jobs won't have to waste their time writing grovelling missives to you on account of you being too fucking stupid to understand common terms such as "no allocated seating".
