Q3A Stops Writing To The Games.log File.

I have had Q3A since its' release and it had one strange problem.
I say strange because it only occurred about 5-6 times since I had it.
The only cure to this problem was to uninstall and re-install the game and its' patches.

This problem just comes out of the blue: after working fine for years.
It stops writing to the games.log file for no reason.

However, this time I could not get it to work after a re-install.

Isn't there any log size limit? I bet it does not erase previous logs.

I have never seen a size limit.
It appends all games to the same file.
So it can get very large if it's not checked.
It never erases the games.log file.
It only uses the one file.

It probably exceeded the maximum file size seen by Quake 3. Try to manualy erase some old content from it (should be in first lines) if it helps. If the problem remains, try to delete whole file, Quake 3 should create new.
