Martinus Help Thread

Post by AndyW »

Hey all!
I want to buy a new Screen cause my 17" Eizos are way to small and run Max 1280x1024 5:4... Its a pain!
Im thinking about to buy one of those: http://www.amazon.de/LG-29UM67-P-Zoll-M ... B00VX8YX42 + one Eizo just for the texture window & menus. So i have 2 other Eizos for my 2nd system.
Are there any known problems with such type of screens?
Im just wondering about the cheap price!

If it causes pain to you, then buy some painkillers and visit the doctor (or at least a vet).

Nah, You doing it wrong! Tell to the dorctor your painful pain, not the monitors screen... What should a doctor do with your monitors screen? :olo:

Also here is a good monitor for you:  It's healthy and painless.

I think this topic is better to move into General Discussion, OR even better to move into The Void instead of Level Editing & Modeling.

I'm moving this to T&T where you might get some actual suggestions, etc.

That CRT goldfish bowl is pretty sick though. Quality graphics, looks like real!

Yeah, depends a lot on that monitor and AngryW doesn't want that. What a mistake!

Andy, I love my ultra wide. I doubt I will ever go back to 16:9. That said, go for the 2560x1440 one if you can. I think you will really regret 1080p vertical resolution.
