If by traffic, you mean posting the same shit over and over to each other, then yes. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the legit traffic left because of that crap. I can't say who did what as far as the original issue of inter-stalking, but the back and forth posting between Lawl and Goof was nauseating at best. As soon as I see a thread degrade into that, I quit reading it. Anyone can sit here and spam up the board and make it look like traffic.
