Off to Dublin on Friday, need ideas of where to visit

Going with the gf for the weekend and while she's no doubt picked out a million and 1 things to look at, I need some ideas of what to look at while we're there too so that I can get a look in...

Ideas?

Actually the pubs around the Temple Bar District (center of Dublin) are for foreigners and assholes and they charge a fucking fiver for a pint in some of them.

beautiful place to walk around if you like architecture. there's the guiness factory which is mind-fuckingingly dull if you don't care about where guiness comes from, but the view from the bar's good.

a couple of galleries and shitloads of pubs (seemed to be a ring of okay ones around the edge of that temple bar bit) - if you're over on the friday then there's plenty of little cafes in the temple bar bit where you can find flyers for stuff on saturday.
