So having a small dick means you're more likely to win the lottery?

guess I'll never win anything then...

The factory produces 4 million fortune cookies a day, at least 97 percent of which carry a string of six numbers. There are 10,000 combinations of numbers, all picked by workers drawing from 40 folded papers with numbers placed in a bowl.

That's how they win the lottery :icon23:

I've been playing for years and no major wins, now I have to eat Chinese food to get winning numbers :tear:

Damn. It seems pretty unlikely at first, but after thinking about it, it really seems like it was just a matter of time before that happened.

think about it in a "infinite paralell universes" context, and every possible event has happened -- there will always be somewhere where the "statistically improbable" has happened.

there's a universe where i didn't make this post.

That's not exactly what I meant though. Think about it.

There's a company that mass-produces fortune cookies with 6 lucky numbers on them, and they do this very often. Each batch has a separate list of random numbers, and there are thousands and thousands that go out, and once they're made, they're still being distributed for years after the batch was shipped the first time.

The lottery also has 6 lucky numbers, which are picked every week (or maybe every day). The more often you keep running the lottery, the more likely it becomes that the 6 winning numbers will match one of the millions (billions?) of lucky-number batches the cookie company has been producing.

You couple that with the large number of people who use the lucky numbers as their lotto numbers, and it's nearly impossible that this wouldn't happen, if the lottery continued to run for a very long time.

It's really kinda cool. And almost kinda strange that nobody at the lottery ever thought about it happening. :)

I'm sure there's one where you did, and he didn't and the rest of us are wondering what the hell you're on about ;) Maybe I even ask you about it.

Damn you, I was thinking about typing that before you put it down.

Actually, in one universe I did, and in another one we both made posts about his post... which hadn't even been posted...
