Whiskey probably went to bed around 9pm.
:p Hey all. About 0130am 1/1/16 I retired :D

A lovely night by all accounts. When I booked the room I called moments later (the internet is fast) and asked to speak to the Manager. I asked for the best 'room in the house' and got an upgrade.

A marvelous view of the fireworks at 0830pm and then midnight. A little too much 'red label' champagne and lots of nibbles made for a wonderful night.

5pm now here the next day;checking emails and webpages :)

All is good (methinks) in the world so cheers from Whiskey 7 & the 'Land of Oz' to all you folk :D

Fuck conformity and fuck you, too.

Actually, I just don't like Christmas anymore because my mother died on New Year's Eve of 2013. I'm still bitter about this time of year. I always avoided decorating the Christmas tree every year and would happily let my mother do it when I visited for the holidays. Stringing up the ornaments so she could maybe recognize them through a combined stupor of morphine and brain cancer was awful. And she just looked right through the tree with a glassy, far-away stare, anyway.

So I guess you pretty much hit the nail on the head, didn't you?
my mom passed away nov 2005 and i stopped doing shit for xmas except get wasted

i feel for you :(

ey trans i am truly sorry for your loss ey :hugs:

i believe you should allow yourself to move past those feelings because enough time has past and there were good times with her and i think those are what she would want you let yourself to feel.

take care

I agree with plained and would also like to add that xer0s is a lonely fag.
