Thanks. Yeah I'm down as soon as I get some padded cycling shorts! Any suggestions?Captain Mazda wrote:Nice, let's go for a ride if you ever bring it to Toronto.
It only came with disks, as Doombrain said.seremtan wrote:nice, and props on choosing disc over rim
get some slick marathon plus
and replace those cheap pedals ffs
I don't want slicks right now, I plan on biking on gravel paths and stuff.
What's wrong with the Giant Shredder pedals I picked? I want to start biking on flat pedals for now because I'm a noob and I'm going to be biking in city traffic. They're only 285g and have sealed bearings, I think they're actually quite nice.
I already have Shimano PD-M785 XT that I'm gonna replace them with once I'm ready to ride clipless.
No idea, I just read that they're better.Ferrao10 wrote:@ToxicBug and bike-people in general: are hydraulic disk-brakes sensitive to temperature? What are the advantages to mechanical disk-brakes?
BTW, I just weighed the bike: 18.8 lbs (8.5 kg)
