NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 3DMark Overclocking Performance

OC GTX 1080 is 61% faster than stock Titan X.

Yea, the speculation surrounding the 3rd party OC variants is crazy. People are talking about 2.4GHz overclocks. O_O

No surprises here for the stock card.

Really curious to see GTX 1080 SLI scaling with the HB bridge, as well as custom cards with more power connectors.

This is interesting: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 tested with aftermarket cooler

I read that at first only the more expensive Founders Editions will be available? Any word on when other brands will hit the market?

I read this too, I really hope the 3rd party cards will be released shortly after.

I only buy MSI cards, their Twin Frozr coolers make the best reference cards IMO.

It's great that they always compare an OC version of whatever card they're selling to a stock version of an old card as if nobody has their cards overclocked. Still haven't seen any real world 60% increase. Bit of a disappointment.

Stock vs stock it's 30% faster than GTX 980 Ti and 65% faster than GTX 980 which it's officially replacing.

Plus it has improvements for VR and multi-monitor

If you have a GTX 980 Ti then you should definitely wait for GP100.

It's basically the same story as GTX 580 -> GTX 680 -> GTX 780 Ti.

Don't forget Fast-Sync, which looks promising as well.

I'm waiting for 3rd party boards.
The premium on the founders' editions is bullshit.

I'll wait for MSI's reference card because their coolers are the best, maybe get a G-sync monitor to go with it. My dual-770 handles everything on 1440p so I'm not getting on the bandwagon yet.

Also waiting for Gsync monitors to be worth buying. $1000 for dead pixels, backlight bleeding, and poor colour output? rofl

Same here. Waiting for a nice custom AIB card with 6+8 or 8+8 pin, 2-slot, and an open-air cooler.
