Why you going Geoff in your statements / answers ?

Well, the idea of the EU collapsing after a Brexit sounds like delusions of grandure to me.
not really - it's what some people (like Varoufakis, for instance) are claiming would actually happen
But ok, suppose that happends, who would rebuild a european governing body and how would he/she/they make sure it wouldnt turn into EU 2.0?
isn't the problem with the EU that they started with government? i seem to remember Jean Monnet, one of the early architects of the Common Market, saying something about how if he could start again, he would start with culture, i.e. start building from the ground up, instead of what we have, which is the the roof down.

also, surely we can have free movement of goods, capital and people without needing a load of shiny buildings full of isolated quangocrats in Brussels or any other city? i think we can

That's pretty much how the EU started tbh, when it was the EC and was basically a series of treaties, then everyone signed up to the maastricht treaty (which introduced the single market) and agreed to social reforms.

There will need to be a form of governance though, the UK has been slapped around more times than sense for busting the rules (including free movement / equal rights). Don't think you can have one without the other in a single market.

Varoufakis is a clown. Come on, you'll need more credible sources than that.

It's in vogue, sir. It's all about the fear and who can yell the loudest rather than giving people some real and important information. People are easily suckered into it.

i don't agree with Varoufakis on this (or many other things), but lol @ thinking he's a clown. rich, coming from you

actually, i'd be interested in hearing about why you think he's a clown (and don't forget to cite those credible, non-clown sources!)

The 2nd link - the one showing bias towards voters is literally an example graphic of a pen in the remain box

[lvlshot]http://www.telegraph.co.uk/content/dam/ ... 2jJnT8.jpg[/lvlshot]

OMFG STOP THE PRESS...

The 1st link n all says we should follow Norways model, who are a member in all but name (they follow the rules / pay in etc / agree to freedom of movement (:olo )) but have no representation....

4th and 5th link talks about David n all not doing the worst thing in the world, remember that this is a guy that pretty much killed off spending for Labour councils after the last election (could only find a recentish article) -

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/201 ... uncil-cuts

It's not the EUs fault the Torys are cunts.

Any issues with the BBC explanation in the 6th link ?... I ain't touching the 3rd link, it's just stuff

remember when that poll showed a lead for the pro-Independence camp just before the Scottish referendum, and everyone shat themselves? and remember how it ended up at 55-45% to stay in the UK?

it's like deja-vu all over again

the way people keep focussing on Boris, Gove and Farage you'd think they believe that come June 24 and a Brexit vote, these three will actually be running the country like a triumvirate of stupid

Any excuse to throw the boot in on those 3 n all (-Farage + Iain Duncan Smith). I absolutely detest them. Way more than Davey.

in what way are they "heading" it? are they the generals who make the strategy? were they elected to that position?

suddenly we're supposed to care what these clowns think?
