How's the new GB movie anyways?

I heard a ton about the movie & it apparently surpasses the original. Is that true? I heard there's a new Ecto-1 for the reboot, but no one can ever take away the original Ecto-1/Ecto-1A. Nobody can take away the precious siren either. I think this was most likely one of the best sounds heard throughout the '80s.

The movie is shit. And this has nothing to do with being a misogynist or whatever. Bridesmaids had a very similar cast (some exactly the same), and it was pretty decent. If the film is good, it will be treated as such. If it's shit, it's shit...

Yet the general public's score is way lower. Usually these two number are not that far of each other. And whenever that happens I noticed that I tend to agree more with the public's opinion. So I'm guessing that the critiques, individually or collectively bullshit their way to that conclussion through some kind of hipster like reasoning. Usually I notice the score difference to persist for movies that are not purely entertaining by their own merit, rather congratulated for something they did different than the status quo or some elitist bs like that
