My 4GB 770s had no problems with Doom on ultra 1440p. A 2GB video card isn't enough for modern games and the idiot didn't even specify what resolution he was using. Doom is probably one of the most optimized games released in years in terms of performance.

Not true, DOOM is a very good game and didn't come anywhere near crippling my pc. Same with Wolfenstein.

It will also use Vulkan / DX12 which on the face of things, has a shitty support from nVidia.

Quake Champions is targeting 120fps though. So even if you get only half that performance, you've still got a 60fps experience.
