I used a Sony RX100. It's a mirrorless camera. Provides near SLR quality photos in a small package.

There were great shots

Me, I am about to buy a smarter telephone (my first).
Really I need to make and receive calls, take occasional photos and send receive email.
These are my short list..
1. LG X power
2. Oppo F1s
3. Sony Xperia XA

During researching I was surprised to read they all have non-removable batteries. Is that 'normal' these days?

I found that many times in my searching but I was looking for a multi-page pdf document and I cannot seem to find (help appreciated). I contacted the company and they say the phone has instruction built in. I found them but they too are brief.

Looking for things like Call Log.. but I am working on it...
Now still trying to add contacts from my old mobile. They tried in store but my old mobile didn't have Bluetooth

That just might be handy although it is not the usual user manual like I usually get with a product. We used to get a manual 'in the box' then they were available 'online' now we just don't seem to have 'em - progress I suppose

It's Android so pretty much any guide for the version of Android it's running should be fine. From a quick Google it looks like it's running lollipop.

Thanks guys. It is Android but it may as well be a foreign language to me... I am brand spanking new at Android although I had a little taste with the OS when I bought a Samsung tablet a couple of years ago. I rarely use it these days

I guess it is like a Windows OS user tackling MAC/Unix.

I just called the company helpline and they were helpful but still I am confused but look forward to learning the new ways
